1. Consultation
Please contact the International Office of your university first. It will advise you whether an application for XENOS funding has a chance of success. You can find the contact details here.
2. Application
A complete application consists of the following documents:
- completed application form including signature
- current transcript of records
- bank statements of the last 3 months
- if relevant, further certificates, e.g. medical records (“Krankschreibung”), invoices, etc.
You can get the application form from the International Office of your university. The completed and signed application plus attachments must also be returned there. The responsible staff will forward the documents to us.
We will check whether your application meets the XENOS funding criteria. You will receive an e-mail confirming that we have received your application and whether it will be forwarded to the funding committee.
3. Decision
Whether you receive funding or not is decided by the funding committee. You will be notified of the decision by e-mail. The grant amount will then be transferred to your bank account.
